Few question about job: kerfisstjori

Hello everyone.
I am on Iceland from 2 years.
In Poland i got IT Technician diploma ( Upper Secondary Technicial School) but it isn't valid here.

I decided to pass a CCNA exam and learn to it in home.

I bought 2x Cisco Switch 2950, 2x Cisco Switch 2960, 1x Cisco L3 Switch 3560 and 2x Cisco Routers 1840. Official books and other thing which i need.

But i have a few question.
What next?
Which qualification is most search here?
Clouds? Security?
-Maybe somebody can give me some tips.

Most employers value experience over anything else, but to get your foot in the door, certifications can certainly help.

I'd say the most respected certs over here are Red Hat and Cisco. Microsoft certs, although completely worthless from a technical standpoint, will get you a lot of interviews.

Personally i would just type this into google and search what job recruiters are looking for (and use translate to english feature)

You will probably get old job ads searching Google, but it will give you a better overview of the IT job landscape in Iceland.

I read propably all old ads about work.
And yes you have a right @daremo companies looking for people with redhat or centos and cisco certs.

The biggest barrier for me will be a experience and language ( next step after CCNA).
But i think i can do it.

Maybe you know companies which provides a network services like management, design etc.
