Acer Aspire 5745g uppfæra eða laga?

Er búinn að eiga þennan lappa í rúm 4 ár, hefur verið mikið í geymslu en líka komið tímabil þar sem hann er mikið notaður og þá aðallega í skóla við keyrslu á basic forritum, ekkert þyngra en excel og word.
Er tiltölulega nýbúinn að hreinsa tölvuna og setja upp á nýtt og hún virkaði fínt fyrstu vikuna eða svo en nú er hún orðinn hræðilega hæg og ég reyni eftur bestu getu að keyra t.d. CCleaner etc og defragmenta/disk cleanup, en hún lætur enn eins og baviani og er frekar treg.
Er einhvað sem ég er að klikka á ? getur einhver bent mér á ferli sem ég gæti runnið í gegnum til að útkljá hvort það sé einhvað sem er að fara framhjá mér og ég þarf að laga t.d. software/hardware ? .. hún er clean af vírususum líka.
Eða ætti ég hreinilega að upgrada? Ég þarf bara trausta tölvu ekki einhverja ofurvél með titan korti og i7 og 12gb minni
