Hi,

Are there any decent workshops that fix graphics cards?

Question is on MSI 3080, gets detected, but doesn't boot up, no picture.

Have been to TL workshop, not much help there.

Isn't it within warranty?

Do the fans on the card spin? I'm not familiar with any workshop here that does PCB level repairs on something like graphic cards.

They spin, rgb is on

All 3080 cards should be under warranty if its bought in Iceland ( 2yrs here)

unless card has been tempered with.

Do have enough power to the card, at least 600w powersupply is needed

The user jonsig here is the man to talk to about this. He will find out if it is repairable and fix it if possible

Yes, have even heatguned it carefully, not first time with gpu.

Það er mjög sniðugt að reyna laga skjákort með whirpool ofninum sínum eða byko hitabyssu.. ef það er verið að reyna kreista nokkra klukkutíma úr kortinu áður en það fer í endurvinnslu.

Ég sé oft skrifað á netinu að svo sé þetta nú gert í verksmiðjunni.. þetta er svipað og ráðleggingin að drekka klór til að losna við covid..

Kíkti á kortið fyrir kallinn án þess að laga það. En hann er með bilun í VMem.
Ég er ekki alveg að nenna laga skjákort þessa dagana því það er leiðinlegt núna útaf íhlutavöruskorti ofl. Get reynt að aðstoða fleirri samt.
