Not much of an upgrade path from a 7700k on the same platform, if any. If I were you I’d sell the cpu, motherboard & ram as a combo then buy a better cpu motherbord and ram ;)

Ryzen 7 7700x
RX 6700XT 12gb
32gb ddr5 5200mhz
1440p 165hz

Yes, I agree, it would be wiser to do. But I am on a tight low budget, and am using this pc for work, so I cant stay without pc. :(
Thought I could get some cpu with or without motherboard, and replace it.

What are you going to upgrade to? isnt this the highest specced CPU for this chipset?

Based on Google search, socket 1151, supports any cpu from 6700k-9900k.

Next I would need to change motherboard and RAM accordingly, but at this moment CPU is issue for me.

The socket does, but the chipsets don't, 6000 and 7000 series cpu's are supported by the same chipsets, 8000 and 9000 are supported by other chipsets.
The z170 chipset only supports up to 7700K.

NZXT 710i - Ryzen 7 5800X - 32GiB 3200 M/T RAM - X570 Aorus Ultra - PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 XTX - 1TB Samsung 970 Pro, 2TB Samsung 970 Evo

Aaah then, I need to do CPU+MB anyway,
thanks for checking and letting me know. Very much appreciated.
