It has a dedicated professional grade graphics card (the internal Quadro is similar to a 7900 GS consumer card). It will still run many games on low or medium settings, can watch DVDs great, and would work well as a basic computer. Battery is completely shot, if you unplug the power cable, the computer turns off. Most likely can be replaced through Opin Kerfi (the HP dealer of Iceland) but not sure. Could also be replaced from Ebay.
Just did a fresh reformat using NTFS file system and the windows disks and installed Icelandic keyboard. It is ready to go with no slowdowns, and no old programs or personal information on it.
