Sælir ,
Datt í hug ég deili með ýkkur (þau sem hafa áhuga) ferlið af Fractal Design Define C Verkefninu mínu,
Project Cyber K.I.D.
Njótið myndirnar.
Part 1:
So tha plans are as followed,
Removing the rear panel of the Fractal Define C Case and Building my own out of 3mm rustfree steel.
i had laying around a piece that almost fitted perfectly (i thought only shortening it would do)
but i had to drimm off the side a litte - 4mm to be exact.
then i had to file everyting to fit nicely, especially the corners they had to be a exact to fit nicely in the bottom and top panel.
after that i had to preinstall the mainboard and draw where the IO cutout had to go,from there the next step where to think about how i wanted to have the GPU,since the main reason for reconstructing my own backpanel was the polacement of the gpu in a differrent way.
after that it was simple, take the jigsaw with an ireon blade and cut out the two holes file everything down and make it look a little cleaner,
then go over everything with some sandpaper to make it "babybuttsmooth"
After everything was ready ,it was off to paint, first primer and then black matt paint to match the paint of the case (at least try).
let everything dry for 48 hours or so,the assemble everything.
next i painted the mainboard cover of the Asus Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard which will house a delidded 3770k which should be plenty
for gaming the next few years overclocked @ 4.6- 4.8 ghz.
and don´t worry the motherboard cover will not be so green in the end (these are only the first steps)
Stay tuned for more to come soon
installed the waterblock on the 970 card
and
did finetune the cosmetic aspects of the gpu a little with some custom vinyl and some acrylic :-)
working on Cables and led's today.
Have to train the cables forst though.
*tightfit.
Also speedmatching the two pumps.
one is an Alphacool D5 and the other is a
alohacool Dc LT.
Almost there...
almost there.....
